Travelling on Slovenian roads requires purchasing a vignette, which can however be easily obtained at any petrol station. It is worth considering driving on local roads, which - unlike motorways - offer breathtaking views. The great pride of Slovenia, and therefore Ljubljana too, are its safe roads, on which serious accidents occur relatively rarely.
From 7:00 to 8:00 and from 15:00 to 16:00 traffic in the capital increases in intensity. Interestingly, the worst traffic jams are to be expected on a Monday.
